I am Rotarian Sudeshna Nanda; I have done my Masters in Social Work from Tata Institute of Social sciences (Mumbai) and Masters in Politics from the University of Warwick (UK). I have graduated in Political Science honours from St Xavier’s college kolkata and am an alumnus of Modern High School for Girls, Kolkata. I have over 15 years of experience in the Development sector and have worked with several organizations; Association for Democratic Reforms(Delhi), CII (Delhi), Centre for Urban and Regional excellence and Concern India Foundation to name some. I have also earned a degree from the European institute of Human Rights because of my keen passion in understanding the impact of climate change on human rights. In 2019 I relocated to Kolkata and founded Little Explorers education society in Saltlake, that focuses on early childhood education. I am also co founder of Karigar Collective where we work with weaver groups and focus on revival of Indian handloom heritage. I also serve as Assistant Director at Concern India Foundation. I am also core committee member of Soumyaloke, an organization focusing on women empowerment.
